Journeying through Holy Week & Easter
While Lent is a time for quiet reflection, it all leads to the great celebration of Easter. Here is a look ahead at our schedule as we move from late March into April:
- Palm Sunday (March 29): Combined service at 10:00 AM.
- Maundy Thursday (April 2): Worship at 7:00 PM.
- Good Friday (April 3): Services at 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
- 24-Hour Prayer Vigil: We need your help! Following the 7:00 PM Good Friday service, we will hold a continuous prayer vigil until Saturday morning. We encourage members to sign up for 30-minute or 1-hour slots so the sanctuary is held in prayer through the night.
- Saturday, April 4: Easter Egg Hunt at 10AM!
- Easter Sunday (April 5):
- Worship: 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM.
- Easter Breakfast: Served continuously from 8:30 AM to 10:45 AM.
Moving from the shouts of “Hosanna!” on Palm Sunday, through the somber reflection of Good Friday, and finally to the celebration of Easter morning is one of the most powerful experiences we share as a church.
Lent is a journey, and it’s one best taken together. We invite you to be fully present with us as we walk through this sacred story and celebrate the joy of the resurrection.
