Building community is a vital part of our ministry at LCR. The classes, social groups, and serving opportunities connect people in creative and meaningful ways so that we grow in community, deepen our personal spirituality, enrich our lives in fellowship and engage our world in service.

Adult Sunday School Classes

We are offering a variety of classes for adults during Fellowship Hour on Sunday mornings. We are excited about helping you deepen your relationships with Jesus and each other through regular classes and groups!

Weekday Adult Classes
Mary and Martha Women’s Bible Study Group
Mondays 10:30 am – 12 pm in the Conference Room. Runs September – May.
Generally, our group discusses a Christian DVD series or book study. We welcome all, even if you cannot attend every week.

Tuesdays 10:00 am-11:30 am in the Conference Room.
The study alternates between Bible Studies and book discussions. Runs September – May.

Men’s Breakfast
Wednesdays 7:30 am – 9:00 am in the Gathering Room. Runs all year.
We build relationships with each other. We study scripture or religious topics together. We share a breakfast made by members of our group. It has become an important part of the week for all of us. We think it will become an important part of your week too, so please join us.

Thursday Women’s Bible Study (Zoom)
Thursdays 8:30 am – 9:30 am via Zoom. Please see the Weekly for the Zoom link. Runs September – May.
Topics rotate weekly to give everyone the flexibility to attend as they are able. Come exercise your faith with other women in the body of Christ.

Women’s Book Club
Meetings: 7:00 pm Mondays every 6 weeks via Zoom. Runs September – May.
This group explores novels and non-fiction books and discusses the challenges and struggles of being faithful in the real world.

Knitters for Peace
Meetings: 7:00 pm 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month in the library of the Family Life Center
Experienced and novice alike, knitters (and crocheters!) share community and their love of yarn crafts while creating items for outreach.

Good Fellowship Dinners
Dinners are held at members’ homes for 4 months each time, once in the spring starting in February, and again in the fall starting in September. It is a wonderful opportunity to get to know one another better and to make new friends.
