Join us this Sunday at 5:00 pm for the last Open Table Worship Gathering before we take a break for the summer. The theme of the night is Finding Hope in Difficult Texts. We will use an art form called redaction poetry to explore some of the difficult and painful stories of the Bible, offering this redemptive art to God as a prayer. This portion of our gathering will be led by Lauren Calvin Cooke is the Associate Minister at Northlake Church of Christ and teaches courses in Youth Ministry and Religious Education at Candler School of Theology.
