An annual ELCA event devoted to love of our neighbors and church.
The LCROutreach teams will be coordinating activities for both Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th and we invite you to participate!
Saturday – Group Opportunities
- Sorting clothing for the MUST clothes closet from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon at the MUST Ministries Donation Center. Please register on the MUST Ministries Volunteer Hub using this link: MUST Ministries. If you have questions about participating or how to register, contact Dana Jelinek or Heather Boyer for additional information.
- General maintenance and painting at YELLS from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon. For additional information, contact George O’Donnell.
Sunday – Onsite Activities (between services in the Gathering Room)
- Assembling hygiene kits for the MUST Ministries Hope House.
- Tying blankets with LCR Blanketeers for the MUST Ministries Toy Shop.
- Guatemala Ministry – Making bookmarks for the girls attending Milagro as well as the staff.
- Knitting prayer squares with Knitters for Peace
- Signing up with Shepherd Staff to provide casseroles, soups and cookies for delivery to LCR members in need.
- And more!!
Finally, we will be hosting an underwear drive. Please bring a package of underwear (Adult and children’s sizes needed) to church during GWOH weekend.
