The Southeastern ELCA Synod is excited to announce a special fundraising event for Casa MiLAGRO, the Young Women’s Education Center supported by Iglesia Luterana Agustina de Guatemala (ILAG). Join us on Saturday evening, September 14th, at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Suwanee, GA, to celebrate and support this vital cause. This year’s theme, “Empowering Young Women: Today and Tomorrow,” underscores our commitment to providing educational opportunities for young women in Guatemala.
Milagro, which means “miracle,” was founded in 2018 with the help of LCR and has grown from 3 to 15 students. It costs $6000 per year for one young woman to attend MiLAGRO, and your support can make a significant impact.
The evening will include inspiring stories from the students, showcasing their journey and transformation.
