SUMMARY:MUST Ministries Toy Shop Drive
DESCRIPTION:Every year\, MUST Ministries makes Christmas happen for more than 6\,000 children in our area through their Toy Shop program. We will be collecting donations of toys and other gift items from November 19th – December 10th. The Christmas tree will be set up with ornaments for you to select specifying boy or girl and age range. Items for children of all ages are needed\, especially for teens up to age 18. \n\nSome suggested gift items for teens are: \nMakeup kits\, Handheld games\, Sports equipment\, Adult coloring books\, Cameras\, Watches\, Jewelry\, Headphones\, Purses\, Wallets\, and Hair styling items (dryers\, curling irons). \n\nPlease deliver new\, unwrapped gifts to LCR by Sunday\, December 10th. \n\nContact Heather Boyer or Dana Jelinek if you have any questions. \n  \nVolunteer at the Toy Shop for a variety of opportunities here.

SUMMARY:Thanksgiving Food Drive
DESCRIPTION:Starting Sunday November 5 you can bring donations for the Thanksgiving Food Drive to the Gathering Room. The drive will conclude November 12. \nThis year we will be collecting less perishable fresh produce as well as canned and boxed food. \n\nLess Perishable Fresh Items: \nsweet potatoes\, red potatoes\, white potatoes\, beets\, winter (acorn) squash\, butternut squash\, bulb onions\, and apples \n\nBoxed and Canned Foods: \ncanned fruit\, canned meats\, canned vegetables\, cereal\, oatmeal\, dried beans\, macaroni & cheese\, canned chili\, canned beef stew\, dry pasta\, rice\, peanut butter\, and tomato sauce \n\nAll donations will benefit our mission partner\, the Community Assistance Center\, whose food pantry serves 500 families per month (many every week). \n\nThis food drive compliments the incredible work our Promise Garden team has done growing and sharing over 950 pounds of produce with the CAC just this year!
