SUMMARY:Service Weekend: God's Work\, Our Hands
DESCRIPTION:An annual ELCA event devoted to love of our neighbors and church.\nThe LCROutreach teams will be coordinating activities for both Saturday\, September 12th and Sunday\, September 13th and we invite you to participate! \nSaturday – Group Opportunities \n\nSorting clothing for the MUST clothes closet from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon at the MUST Ministries Donation Center. Please register on the MUST Ministries Volunteer Hub using this link: MUST Ministries. If you have questions about participating or how to register\, contact Dana Jelinek or Heather Boyer for additional information.\nGeneral maintenance and painting at YELLS from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon. For additional information\, contact George O’Donnell.\n\nSunday – Onsite Activities (between services in the Gathering Room) \n\nAssembling hygiene kits for the MUST Ministries Hope House.\nTying blankets with LCR Blanketeers for the MUST Ministries Toy Shop.\nGuatemala Ministry – Making bookmarks for the girls attending Milagro as well as the staff.\nKnitting prayer squares with Knitters for Peace\nSigning up with Shepherd Staff to provide casseroles\, soups and cookies for delivery to LCR members in need.\nAnd more!!\n\nFinally\, we will be hosting an underwear drive. Please bring a package of underwear (Adult and children’s sizes needed) to church during GWOH weekend. \nWe look forward to seeing you September 12th & 13th .
